Hi all.
I have got a problem in the sounds options dialogue in skype and i was wondering if anyone found a work around it.
In this dialogue we can easily choose which sound we like to be played for each skype event such as the ringtone etc but it doesn't seam to be a way to enable or disable an event. Some events are disabled by defolt such as the contact online or ofline sound and i can't find a way to enable it. In earlier versions of skype we could tab around and find a checkbox for each event and cellect it but with newer versions i can't find the checkbox.
If anyone is involved with accessibility testing of skype and can contact a developer it would be good if you could say that. I wrote it in the skype forum under suggestions but i didn't get any responses yet.
I even tried the skype scripts but it didn't make any difference with this dialogue.
So let me know if you experience the same problem or if you found a work around.
Thanks

Hi,

In Skype 3.6, the checkboxes in the list are still there, JAWS just isn't saying them. You can still check and uncheck them as usual. HTH!

Nikos, did you try the latest revision of the Skype scripts (JFW-SKR618)?

Thanks both of you for your suggestions.
Yes i have got the latest scripts and after more playing with it they worked for me. I was looking at the wrong place to find the checkbox for each event and that's why i couldn't find it.
In earlier versions of skype after the play button for each sound if you pressed tab you could find a checkbox but with the new versions you can press space on each skype event to check it.

And JAWS should say if it's checked or not if it recognizes the color that's being used or if getControlAttributes()&control_checked.
